Each basket is a true original. Made of porcupine quills, birch bark and sweetgrass, these baskets are based on a centuries-old tradition of decorating clothing with quillwork. Today, only a handful of porcupine quill workers carry on the tradition of this intricate art form. Choose from among the baskets shown below, but be aware that our selection continually changes. Some quill workers will take commissions, so if you are looking for a specific design, or something larger, just email us with the details.
